The Good Eating Company is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Area Operations Manager - Food to support multiple Corporate Services businesses in Washington DC and Reston Virginia.

The position requires a strategic-thinking leader who can work in partnership with multiple clients’ vision & expectations while delivering high-quality dining service programs that will achieve high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence with the ability to work within complex, multiple client organizations. Strong relationship skills are a must to effectively work internally as well as externally to the organization.

We are looking for candidates who :

• Have managed multiple client accounts / restaurants
• Possess exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relations skills with the ability to work both horizontally & vertically in the organization
• Have strong financial acumen with demonstrated success handling complex financial contracts with many aspirational requirements
• Demonstrate highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively address operational and client needs
• Proven ability to develop and motivate a team across multiple sites and clients in a complex environment
• Have a cultured culinary palate

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience : 5 years

Basic Functional Experience : 3 years of experience in operations
