We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer! In this position, you'll play a key part in designing and detailing innovative machinery for the food packaging and processing industry. Responsibilities :

Design and detail machine components and systems.
Create detailed drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and specifications.
Input data into the ERP system accurately and efficiently.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in SolidWorks 2019 or higher.

Experience with AutoCAD or DraftSight.

Strong ability to create and detail machine drawings.

Experience working with sheet metal, stainless steel, and fabrications is a plus.

Ability to create part assemblies and detailed design plans.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, engineers, and other team members.

Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting solutions.
