Job Summary:
As an Operations Manager at Packaging Specialties, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout the packaging process. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing overall productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective operational strategies to meet production goals and customer requirements.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including machine operators, quality control inspectors, and packaging specialists.
Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished products, to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
