Description
We are seeking a Contractor Sales Representative (CSR) who will drive growth in our Columbus, Ohio Territory with a focus on our Contractor Market.
As our CSR your main duty will be to develop, service, and expand relationships with prospective contractor customers using multiple techniques including regular sales calls, cold-calling, industry networking, customer recommendations, etc. to drive aggressive closure of all available opportunities.
This position does offer a hybrid schedule, with a semi monthly base pay uncapped commission structure.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction market or selling to the construction market.
- Experience and knowledge in operating, servicing, and selling in different systems including vending, VMI, kitting, and fabrication in the contractor market.
- Knowledge of CRM and ability to utilize ERP software or ability and willingness to learn the ERP software.
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to sell and close deals in a B2B environment.
- Ability to create and grow relationships by leveraging network to progress the sales cycle.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, & percentages.
- Willingness to travel for occasional overnight branch visits and training events.
- Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office and database software.
- The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weight 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
