We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Respond promptly to service requests, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Collaborate with other team members as needed to complete larger projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong background in maintenance and repair work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
