POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Accurately Assemble product in an efficient manner

o Follow Prescribe Methods and Procedures

o Complete Tasks in the time allotted

• Verification that all materials are properly identified.

• Assemble product per job specs and drawings

• Read, and understand shop drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and

process documents

• Use necessary tools and equipment to assemble products

o Pneumatic, Electric and Hand tools may be required

• Assist in quality control inspections to ensure product meets job specs and

tolerances

• Handle and transport material with forklift

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment

• Report issues with tools, equipment, or unsafe conditions

• Identify and separate all materials that do not conform according to established

methods.

• Bring to the attention of the supervisor or person in charge any abnormality in the

product or process.

• Follow all quality and safety requirements established by the company.

• Responsible for equipment, machines, and materials in the work area.

• Responsible for production and quality of products made on the line.

• Comfortable to work independently and as a Team member to identify, improve,

troubleshoot and take ownership for results of the machine or process the

operator is responsible.

• 3 years of general assembly experience

• High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) required, or

equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong sense of urgency and self-motivation

• Must have valid drivers license

• Must live within a fifty-mile radius

• Familiarity with manual hand tools, power tools, & forklift

• Able to meet physical demands of the job: standing for extended periods, lifting

loads up to 50 pounds, squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.

• Knowledge and adherence to all OSHA safety practices and procedures

• Must be able to learn on the job, adapt to the changes, and become proficient

quickly

• Ability / Experience to communicate effectively through oral and written

communications.

• Ability / Experience to recognize, analyze and solve problems.

• Ability / Experience to work with others collaboratively.

• Basic math skills (Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, Measure, use a calculator,)

• Basic Writing Skills (Writing notes legibly, forming numbers / numerals,

understandable)

SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Occasional exposure to weather, vibration, dust and fumes.

• Requires frequent stooping/bending/crouching, reaching, handling, finger

dexterity, sitting, standing, walking, repeated lifting of up to 50lbs

• Climbing, carrying loads, proximity to moving mechanical parts

• Ability to move freely and have sufficient reflexes to perform the same tasks

repeatedly.

• Ability to stand 8 - 10 hours Daily

• 1st Shift will start from 06:00 AM
