We are looking for a dedicated team member to join our Olympia office that provides bookkeeping and accounting services for small to mid-size clients. PacStar Financial opened in 2005 and specializes in meeting clients specific business needs and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills, capable of working in a busy office setting and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Compile daily, weekly and monthly data
- Reconcile and verify financial data
- Post financial and payroll entries to general ledger
- Filing of state and local sales tax returns
- Monthly reconciliations and financial statement review
- Year end review and reconciliations
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar accounting position
- Experience with Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Accurate data entry and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
