Salary Range: $25.00 to $32.00 an hour

PACT MSO, LLC is a Management Service Organization that supports a large multi-specialty practice of providers. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant who will be working in Branford Monday through Friday 8:30am through 5:00pm.
This position supports all members of the HR Department. The main function of the role is keying and maintaining the HRIS, answering inquiries, running reports, coordinating projects, and other tasks as needed.
Essential Functions
- Answer employee and vendor inquiries and questions
- Supports HR Department by assisting with HR processes and HR functions
- Onboarding of new hires including data entry, gathering new hire forms, communication with new hires
- Keying and answering questions about employee changes
- Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, answering initial employee questions, processes benefit changes, and invoicing reconciliation.
- Participates in processing paperwork and efforts for recruiting employees, which may include posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, onboarding employees, creating employee files.
- Maintains HRIS and compiles reports from the database as needed.
- Create and maintain personnel files ensuring the files are up to date and adhering to all state and federal laws
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent typing skills
- Strong knowledge of how databases work
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of HR systems such as a payroll system HRIS, benefits system, etc. is required
- Excellent MS word and excel skills
- Excellent computer, internet, research skills
- Excels at trouble shooting and problem solving
- Professional and ethical
- Basic understanding of HR process and federal and state laws i.e. FMLA, pay laws, sick leave, etc.
- Basic understand benefits including medical, vacation, sick, STD/LTD
Education and Experience
- HS Degree required, AS degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of HR administrative assistant experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with a full suite HRIS.
