Your Role as an Electro-Mechanical Automation Specialist
- Maintain a "zero harm" principle, integrating safety into every aspect of automation processes.
- Lead and inspire the plant's Automation Team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Manage all automation equipment operations, from scheduling and training to directing maintenance tasks.
- Provide solutions for daily automation interruptions, optimizing processes such as product conveyance and robotic systems.
- Build strong, service-oriented relationships with other departments, aligning automation solutions with their requirements.
- Enhance preventative maintenance programs, documenting each step for consistency and reliability.
- Develop cost estimates for safety initiatives, project upgrades, and provide leadership through the entire project lifecycle.
- Exhibit mastery in using the plant's CMMS for tracking and managing maintenance actions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technical field, coupled with relevant industrial automation experience, or significant (10 years) expertise in the field.
- Proficiency in PLC, controls systems programming, and robotics—particularly with Fanuc robots.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, adept at reading schematics and using technical documentation.
- Proven leadership in fast-paced manufacturing environments and excellence in communication across all organizational levels.
- Experience with CAD systems and CMMS is advantageous.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including specific software tools like Rockwell Studios.
