Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain automation equipment efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with robots and PLCs and apply solutions.
- Perform repairs on both high and low-voltage systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Record deficiencies using CMMS and identify breakdown trends.
- Adapt to an on-call schedule as required by the department's needs.
Desired Expertise:
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and robotic programming.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A background with Allen Bradley and ABB systems is a plus.
- HS Diploma is essential, with an Associate's degree being favorable.
Required Proficiencies:
- Comprehensive PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Insight into industrial robot programming and automation equipment.
