Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Banking/teller experience preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets customers and processes customer payments made in the office, night depository or mail. Responds to customer inquiries and solves special needs/problems in an appropriate, professional and effective manner. Processes new customer services, transfers, new meters, turn-offs, etc, creating a work order for each instance. Communicates with customers in the office and on the telephone about water account (e.g., billing and services questions). Answers telephone promptly to address customer needs or refers caller to appropriate staff member. Confirms that all customer-related work orders have been completed at the appointed time. Communicates and coordinates work between departments and agencies (e.g., sewer, refuse, Paducah city, etc). Maintains and balances cash drawer.
