Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of a CSR is to provide excellent customer service and assist customers with various banking transactions and inquiries. CSR’s must always maintain professionalism and effective communication with both customers and colleagues.
Duties
· Greet and direct customers.
· Receive and transfer phone calls and messages.
· Maintain necessary records and files.
· Develop knowledge of appropriate banking regulations.
· Must develop knowledge of Bank functions and become proficient in cross-selling skills.
· Explain various services and assist customers in selecting the appropriate service(s) needed.
· Perform customer services, such as opening new accounts, ordering checks, processing stop payments, and processing alterations to existing deposit accounts, etc.
· Open and maintain IRA’s.
· CSR staff will follow up with customers after account opening and other services within a reasonable time frame (that being 10 business days from date of service).
· Open lockboxes and handle rental and billing.
· Always maintain confidentiality.
· May cross-train on teller line.
· Will float from office to office as needed.
· Perform any duties requested by a supervisor relating to the Bank and its' functions.
· Ensures compliance with all Federal and State banking Laws, regulations & rules.
· Make sales calls to existing and prospective customers.
· And, as directed, may perform other duties from time to time.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Preferably 2 years of previous banking experience.
- Excellent sales and communication skills.
- Good understanding of financial products and services.
- Adequate typing skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform over-the-counter customer services with attention to detail.
- Strong judgment, courtesy, patience, and interpersonal skills required.
- Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with various systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
