Logistician - Warehouse
PAE is currently seeking a Logistician to support our customer in Ft. Gillem, GA. May be required to travel OCONUS (as needed).
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Knowledge and skill in the application of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Knowledge of GCSS-Army and GCSS-Army AIT Systems Knowledge of Unit Supply System AR 710-2-1 Knowledge of Property Accountability IAW AR 735 Knowledge of the US Army Transportation System Knowledge of commercial shipping Knowledge of Warehouse and Storage Supply Operations Must train on HAZMAT Transportation Must operate forklift up to 30,000 lb. cap Organize, plan and execute logistical operations in conjunction with guidance from Executive Leaders, Division Leads, Division Operations Officers, Branch Chiefs and other DFSC Coordinating Staff Excellent facilitation, program/activity management, and written and oral communication skills Ability to work synergistically as a member of a warehouse and storage team Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how to solve problems creatively Ability to work multiple projects under tight schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of experience in the planning, execution, inventorying, and warehousing for the worldwide deployment of equipment and personnel.
- At least four (4) years of experience with military logistics and supply chain procedures and processes for sea, air, and ground transportation
- Experience with GCCS Army Property Book.
- Experience with policy and procedures for hazmat handling, transporting, and storage.
- Experience working with military Combatant Command (COCOMs) and Joint Task Forces.
- Experience with medical supply chain logistics.
- Ability to independently act and solve complex logistics issues.
- Experience in the documentation of logistic plans, policies and procedures with the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to military and civilian personnel.
- The job requires varying amounts of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- The position requires making delivery of supplies/equipment to DFSC customers thru out the organization and lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to successfully pass all medical requirements for deployment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Ability to obtain a US Passport.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years of experience in the certification, movement, setup and tear down of mobile lab facilities.
- Prior military Senior Non-Commission Officer specializing in logistics.
- Certification from APICS, American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL) and/or the International Society of Logistics (SOLE).
- Ability to operate forklift per OSHA standards.
- HAZMAT Certified.
