Title: HR Administrator/Office Admin

Location: New York City, NY (in-office 5 days a week)
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations in our NYC office. This role will focus on employee onboarding, HR compliance, benefits administration, and general office & HR support. You will work closely with leadership and employees to ensure smooth HR processes and a great employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration & Compliance
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate HR records and personnel files in compliance with company policies.
- Support HRIS and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with global employment laws and assist with HR policy updates.
Employee Support & Office Coordination
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries.
- Support leadership with HR-related tasks, including scheduling meetings and drafting
- communications.
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and office events.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Help coordinate interviews, job postings, and new hire paperwork.
- Assist in managing employment verifications.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-4 years of HR experience, ideally in a support role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HR systems (BambooHR experience is a plus).
- Understanding of HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of global HR
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR)
