PageSix.com is seeking a sharp and deadline-driven Reporter (Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm ET) to join our fast-paced newsroom. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of reality television, a keen eye for newsworthy angles, and the ability to turn around clean, engaging copy quickly. You’ll be responsible for breaking stories, covering trending topics, and contributing to our dynamic digital coverage. Strong writing skills, newsroom experience, and a passion for pop culture are a must.


Candidates are expected to:


● Pitch and write multiple stories each day relating to high-trafficking entertainment topics.

● Proactively seek out and uncover under-the-radar stories that will resonate with the Page Six audience.

● Be an avid reality TV watcher (including but not limited to: Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Southern Charm, Summer House) with a deep understanding of characters, storylines, etc.

● Have your finger on the pulse of what fans are talking about on social media and the ability to create content that fits their interests.

● Conduct interviews with talent and film videos recapping exclusive stories, reality TV show highlights and more.

● Be a self-starter and have the ability to think quickly on their feet and multitask in a fast-paced news environment.

● Have an understanding of analytics and use that knowledge to help guide coverage.

● Accommodate some flexibility in daily hours.


Qualifications:


● At least three years of major journalism experience

● A deep understanding of and passion for all things entertainment, specifically reality TV

● Exceptional writing and reporting skills

● Ability to write succinct, eye-catching headlines and clean, ready-to-publish content

● Experience finding and analyzing legal docs preferred

● Knowledge and understanding of SEO best practices

● Strong editorial judgment and communication skills

● Familiarity with content management systems, photo editing software and web analytics tools

● Flexibility in working outside traditional business hours when needed

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
