We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar.
- Collect copays and fees, enter payments efficiently and provide daily balance information to management.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and clarity, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient files.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed, including managing correspondence and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in medical receptionist or front desk is required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities. Bilingual is preferred.
- Proficiency in clerical tasks, including data entry and filing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
