The PAI Sample Lab Technician is responsible for product sample receipt and document coordination that supports laboratory functions; The individual must adhere to regulatory, global and site policies and procedures.
Essential Functions :
- Receive laboratory samples, enter sample information into LIMS, and properly store samples in appropriate locations.
- Properly maintain the LIMS sample disposal in inventory and physical removal of tested product from the laboratory.
- Assist with entering inventory items into LIMS.
- Maintain controlled substance tracking records / inventory for the QC Laboratory.
- Distribute controlled substances to laboratory analysts.
- Data entry in Excel tables.
- Obtain and organize Customer Compliant return samples and retain samples.
- Distribute Controlled Worksheets to laboratory analysts, as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional departments.
- Other duties as requested
General Expertise
Qualification :
Requires a high school diploma. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Access. Individual should be self-motivated, highly organized and work independently. Knowledge of a laboratory environment, equipment, and materials is preferred.
