Summary:
Overall operations of the clinics involving clinical compliance, staff scheduling and supervision and effective management of patient care and staff.
Compensation: $57,000 - $62,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures clinical support is made available to the physicians and the locations.
Coordinates physician schedules for effective use of physician time.
Trains and guides clinical staff in the clinical setting based on policies and procedures set by the Chief Medical Officer and Centers for Pain Management.
Ensures the staff follows safety procedures and universal precautions.
Works closely with employees ordering medical supplies to ensure all offices are well stocked.
Communicates with the corporate team to ensure effective operations and utilization of policy and procedures within the locations.
Addresses patient concerns when they arise and directing to human resources when necessary.
Works with IT when issues arise in Illinois offices.
Provides information to the corporate team regarding human resources issues or concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsible:
Manages employees including performance evaluations, progressive disciplinary actions, grievance procedures.
All employees are directly managed by the Clinical Coordinator with the direction of the Director of Human Resources when necessary.
Manages staff time.
Modifies tasks and assignments as the work load changes. Altering schedules and work hours when the need arises.
Reviews and approving Illinois clinical staff PTO requests.
- Assists in the hiring and firing process.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Nursing or related required.
Current BLS certification required.
At least 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a clinical coordinator role (essential).
Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding (highly advantageous).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.

Required to sit and stand for long periods.
Must be able to communicate with or without reasonable accommodations – speak and hear.
Able to use both hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to push 300 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
