Now Hiring: Stage Artist/Floor Artist Assistant – Part-Time
MUST be available to work:
- Fridays: Typically 3 PM – 10 PM
- Saturdays: Typically 10 AM – 11:30 PM
- Sundays: Typically 11 AM – 8 PM
Candidates who are not available during these times will not be considered.
About the Role
Painting with a Twist – Winter Haven is looking for two to three enthusiastic and talented artists to join our team as Stage Artist/Floor Artist Assistant!
This is not your typical art class—we are all about having fun! Our classes are more “fun art” than fine art, and we create a lively party atmosphere where guests of all experience levels can enjoy painting step-by-step.
As a Stage Artist, you will:
- Lead painting classes of up to 30 guests in a fun and engaging way.
- Keep the energy high—think of yourself as the host of a creative party.
- Use humor, encouragement, and a laid-back approach to make guests feel comfortable.
As a Floor Artist Assistant, you will:
- Help guests individually as they follow along with the painting.
- Set up for class, assist with cleanup, and help check in customers.
- Support Stage Artists while learning how to lead your own class.
All new hires will start as a Floor Artist Assistant and receive training to become a Stage Artist. Once promoted, you will have shifts in both roles.
Requirements
- Strong acrylic painting skills – this is the medium we use.
- Some teaching experience – formal or informal.
- Confidence in public speaking – you’ll be on stage leading a crowd.
- Energetic and engaging personality – we want our guests to have fun!
- Ability to work weekends (Fridays–Sundays) and some weeknights.
