Responsibilities

- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up and clearing tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely preparation of orders.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role is REQUIRED, especially in A FULL SERVICE restaurant setting.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
