Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system (CLOVER POS or similar) and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Process payments using cash register or POS system, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems (POS), including CLOVER POS or OpenTable is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
