What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Coordinator position at Pala Casino Spa Golf Resort?
Location: Pala, CA
To develop content for Pala Casino Spa Resort to share the fun and excitement that occurs on property with guests and future guests via social media. To interact with Guests/Team Members to encourage them to follow and share Pala Casino Spa Resort on Social Media channels.
- Minimum 2 years social media experience developing online content
- Possess excellent organization and creative communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work independently, ability to prioritize and ability to multi task.
- Creative, with a good eye for photography and videography
- Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Able to edit photos & video using app based and desktop tools
- Must read, write, speak and understand English.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with Pala Casino and Pala Mesa Resort property operators in creating posts that drive engagement and portray the highest standards of quality
- Collaborate with Marketing leadership in creating strategies to drive engagements and keep Pala as a leader in social media marketing
- Develop photo and video content using app-based editing equipment
- Edit video content using app-based and desktop applications
- Interact with Guests for photos and videos while maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all Guests and Pala Team Members
- Serve as an expert for social media and evangelize social media throughout Pala Casino with Guests and Team Members
- Answers and provides assistance to the Executive Director of Marketing and Social Media consultant as necessary in social and online marketing
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the Pala Casino style and tone for all written social media materials
- Work with multiple department managers and directors to cover events occurring on property
- Identify competitive opportunities and threats in social channels and develop appropriate responses
- Develop and post content across social channels. This includes blog posts, status updates, tweets, pins, photos, videos, etc.
- Analyze performance data and develop strategies to drive post and channel KPIs.
- Ensure that all comments on posts, questions in DMs, and mentions are responded to within a timely manner.
