Location: Pala, CA
Responsible for supervising the activities of the compliance operation of the Finance department to ensure the accurate reporting figures throughout the property.
- Supervisory experience in the Gaming industry preferred.
- Experience with audits required; preferably BSA/Title 31 Audits.
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate with superior spreadsheet skills, proficiency in Excel software highly preferred.
- Customer service experience necessary.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some college course work, or equivalent work experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervises the activities of Title 31 Auditors assigning work as needed, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting of revenue figures to all regulatory agencies.
- Non operational audits assigned by management.
- Perform end of the year audits of 1042’s, 1099’s and W-2G’s.
- Attends regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Track all cash transaction over 3,000.00 dollars.
- Complete appropriate paperwork for all cash transactions over 10,000.00 dollars.
- Audit all transaction types to ensure that all customers that have gone over the 10,000-dollar threshold have given the casino the proper identification.
- Monitor customer player rating to determine an amount the customer my have lost or won.
- Monitor W-2G reports for accuracy and to ensure that all accurate information has been obtained.
- Create and organize Title 31 audit schedule.
- Train Title 31 Auditors.
- Issue and track all Title 31 training and exception notices.
- Oversee Title 31 transactional analysis and report any anomalies to the Compliance Manager.
- Perform periodic audits of Title 31 Daily Work to ensure accuracy.
- Counsel Title 31 Auditors as needed with Manager or in place of Manager.
- Issue yearly performance evaluations for Title 31 Auditors as needed with Manager or in place of Manager.
- Responsible for keeping customer database accurately on 1042’s, W-2G’s, CTR’s, and barred patrons.
- Act as back up for the Slot System Analyst Position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
