Castle Park - Arcade Redemption
Roles & Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
The Arcade Redemption attendants are responsible for providing guests with a fun and exciting experience when they are playing games and golf at various locations throughout the park. The key to being an Arcade Redemption attendant is always having a smile on their face and being very interactive and proactive with the guests. Arcade Redemption attendants must be friendly, full of energy, great at communication, and super outgoing!
This position will include POS systems, issuing prizes, providing golf assistance, and helping guests to ensure that everyone has a positive experience when visiting Castle Park.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Convey a fun and positive attitude that creates an inviting atmosphere for guests
- Provide clear and accurate explanation of game rules to players, as needed
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) equipment to accurately record financial transactions
- Monitor, stock, and inventory game prizes
- Maintain area in a neat, organized, and clean manner
- Report any game malfunctions to A/V or Maintenance Departments
- Promptly escalate any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to the proper authorities
- Assist with deliveries, as needed
- Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions
- Replenish, condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area
- All other duties assigned by leadership
Education and Experience
- No education requirements for this position
- Previous work experience is not required
- Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with California Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and positively impact their satisfaction
- Basic math skills are a plus
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team s well independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of time
- Ability to remain on feet for majority of the workday
- Ability to carry, push, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
- Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools
Working Conditions
- This role is based in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions
- Subject to loud noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
- Some exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals
- Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
