POSITION SUMMARY
As Service Manager, you will ensure all FOH & kitchen team members feel supported and enjoy success. You will oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant with the goal of delivering an exceptional guest experience. Department responsibilities may include our bar program and service & training. Your drive to motivate, train, and develop our team is vital to meeting restaurant goals.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the hiring and onboarding for all FOH departments; assisting with BOH new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure all new employees complete the outlined process and feel welcome.
- Executing all ongoing training initiatives, i.e., Item of the Week, Rum of the Week, salesmanship, contests, etc.
- Effectively building trust with employees, management, and owners through good communication, leading by example, and providing honest feedback.
- Assisting with controlling COGS and labor costs.
- Assisting with coordinating Private Events as needed.
- Designing and implementing regular contests and incentives that drive salesmanship.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage restaurant operations. Corporate experience preferred.
- Previous in-restaurant trainer experience. New store opening training a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand finances and cost management.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat; able to work in a confined area.
- Beverage/Food Handler’s card may be required according to local and/or state requirements.
