Position Summary
Palatine Park District is seeking Water Polo Coaches to assist with our year-round Water Polo Team located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
The ideal candidate will assist with teaching the fundamentals of the sport of water polo to ages 8-18, which includes novice through competitive level athletes. The position will require evening practices during the week when school is in session, along with morning and/or evening practices once school is out.
This position will work out of the local High School pools, primarily Fremd HS & Palatine HS. Once school concludes, the position will also include work at Birchwood Pool, an outdoor, eight-lane, 50-meter facility.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge of competitive water polo and/or previous coaching experience
- Ability to interact positively with players, officials, and parents in an energetic, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Seasonal pool passes for indoor and outdoor pools (individual and discount on family)
