Job Description: The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for helping the business development team in presenting presentations and deliverables while building partnerships and engaging with a variety of stakeholders for reputation management and growth. This position is responsible for creating presentations around system demonstrations, community involvement and helping secure new business opportunities including clients. Our ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of the overall SaaS business model, including the roles of sales and marketing as they relate to revenue optimization through lead generation, customer acquisition and customer lifecycle marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Owning the planning and business development presentation activities which include but are not limited to PowerPoint Presentations and system demonstrations.
- Working with Palco sales teams to determine and understand priorities and marketing efforts towards potential accounts and customers.
- Assisting sales team to win new contracts with clients – including amendments and extensions.
- Help sales team execute quarterly and annual business development plans to support company growth goals.
- Understand current community partnerships and develop relationships and presentations for collaboration and reputation growth.
- Document and keep accurate records of client engagement and partnership development.
- Help create and collaborate on marketing campaigns and material development.
- Evaluate Self-Direction markets and research competitor’s line of services within each state or program waiver.
- Assist in growing participant count goals set forth by Executive Management Team.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrable public sector or Medicaid deal management experience.
- Have a track record of assisting sales teams generate multi-million-dollar services revenue with State government or Medicaid entities.
- Have effective public speaking and presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences, including high-level executives and clients.
- Demonstrate capability to learn and execute the companies’ selling strategies.
- Have high standards for ethics, accountability, teamwork, humility, and ownership.
- Preferred experience in assisting selling Software as a Service (SaaS)
- History of working with procurement offices including State and Local solicitations
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience working with Home and Community Based Services or Long-Term Care Medicaid services industry required.
