Painter

Your Responsibilities

• Be able to think independently and perform with a minimum level of supervision. Basic Mechanical skills - This includes the ability to use repair tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
• Required to wear a paint suit and air-supplied hood or respirator.
• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance with blueprints and/or customer specifications.
• Scuff, prep, and apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
• Conduct a finish quality check. Sand and touch-up as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas, tool repair, and equipment inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 3 years of paint experience.
• Strong proficiency in the painting of various truck / automotive equipment and/or industrial painting is preferred.
• Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50lbs for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Able to communicate with employees and customers.
• Supply own tools.
