Palisades Tahoe Resort in Olympic Valley, CA seeks an experienced Seasonal Community Coach to oversee a specific age class, segment or sub-segment of a ski or snowboard discipline within Team Palisades Tahoe. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of Team Palisades Tahoe in accordance with the Mission and Vision as measured by the quality of the athlete and employee experience, retention, athlete success, and parent satisfaction.
Job Summary
The Ski & Snowboard Team Jr Devo Far West Segment Head Coach is responsible for the successful oversight and implementation of specific segment or sub-segment (gender/age/ability/etc.) of a department discipline and/or age class. They will work closely with Manager and other Head Coaches to develop annual training plans, pursue and maintain coaching certifications, and ensure individual athlete management programs are in place and overseen.
Key Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks
- Contribute and conform to team athletic processes and philosophies.
- Develop and implement annual training plans in collaboration with Manager and other Head Coaches.
- Pursue and maintain coaching certifications while engaging in continuous professional development.
- Ensure individual athlete management programs are in place and overseen.
- Be knowledgeable and stay informed on industry trends and competition, seeking feedback from athletes, parents, staff, and company personnel on quality of products and services.
- Be fully aware of and support the mission, vision, and goals of all aspects of our program, including Alterra.
