About the Job:
We're seeking an experienced coach to lead our Junior Development Program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and developing young athletes, with a strong understanding of our team's values and philosophies. You'll work closely with our Manager and other Head Coaches to develop and implement training plans, manage athlete programs, and provide feedback and guidance to your team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective training plans for athletes within your segment or sub-segment.
- Manage athlete programs, including setting goals, tracking progress, and providing feedback.
- Collaborate with the Manager and other Head Coaches to develop and refine our team's athletic processes and philosophies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis, and provide recommendations to improve our program.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, progress, and feedback.
- Contribute to team-building activities and events, such as camps, competitions, and social gatherings.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including coaching certifications and workshops.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need a High School Diploma or GED, fluency in English, and USSA Level 100, PSIA/AASI Level 1, IFSA or equivalent certification. Prior coaching experience and working with youth are also essential. Supervisory experience, Level 2/200 or higher relevant skiing certification, and efficient knowledge of Microsoft Office are preferred.
