Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative at Palletized Trucking plays a pivotal role in ensuring our sales force is operating at its highest potential.
The Inside Sales Representative will drive growth by identifying prospects within Palletized Trucking’s core verticals and supporting customers outside of these verticals, known as active house accounts. This role involves qualifying leads, managing opportunity follow-up for quotes and assisting new customers with onboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing vital sales data, as well as supporting the overall sales team by helping schedule meetings and events. We're looking for someone who is organized, has excellent communication skills, and can work independently with great energy to match!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Qualification and Account Management
- Identify and qualify prospects within our core verticals, focusing on aligning new leads with strategic sales growth objectives.
- Provide support for house accounts outside of core verticals to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and service.
- Use tools like Import Yeti, LinkedIn, and Google to research and target prospects, ensuring alignment with vertical-focused sales campaigns.
- Adding 5 new leads per day.
2. Salesforce Operations:
- Use Salesforce to create & manage leads within our timeframe.
3. New Customer Process:
- Qualify potential new customers with marketing to them through verbal and email approaches of all the services we offer.
- Manage the new account process, from initial quote request to account setup.
- Coordinate with Credit department to execute our credit application process.
- Learn as much as possible about new customers to help make a recommendation to whom this account should be assigned. They need to know the customers’ needs and our strengths and weaknesses of the BDR/KAM to help alignment.
- Send welcome emails to new customers containing necessary contact information, quotes, resources, safety, RFQs, and more.
4. Sales Execution and Customer Support
- Handle day-to-day inbound inquiries for house accounts and manage their expectations for efficient conversion.
- Follow up on quotes within 24 hours, ensuring timely responses and customer satisfaction.
5. Reporting and Coordination:
- Run & review reports out of Salesforce, with our Sales Director.
- Be able to prepare QBRs using DOMO.
- Support the sales team by scheduling events, meetings, and customer engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of Sales experience preferred.
- Salesforce platform experience preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation and sales industry preferred.
