Job Overview

Duties
- Obtains pre-authorization and co-pays from insurance for procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high standards of care.
- Assist medical staff with obtaining vital signs when needed
- Assist medical staff taking out patients to personal vehicles after recovery
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices and inpatient care is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are necessary.
- Experience with medical insurance is required
