As a Sr. EWP Designer, you will be responsible for drafting, designing and executing on projects. This will include project management coordination, AutoCAD drafting and estimating project costs.
Position Location:
This opportunity is fully remote, though qualified applicants are more than welcome to report to any of our locations if preferred. We prefer this candidate lives within our geographic footprint and is able and willing for occasional travel to our facilities for training or company events.

Responsibilities
- Utilize a wide-range of design and planning software programs (AutoCAD, IStruc, Revit, Chief Architect, Sketchup, SolidWorks)
- Understand local building codes, regulations and laws as it relates to EWP
- Work directly with customers to execute on projects
- Communicate and educate co-workers on EWP projects
- Create material lists and perform plan takeoffs

Qualifications
- Relevant degree (associates or bachelors) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints & design plans
- Experience with AutoCAD, IStruc, Revit, Chief Architect, Sketchup, or SolidWorks preferred
- Understands how to use the International Residential Code book span charts
- At least one year of experience working as an EWP designer
- General computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system knowledge preferred
