Palmer Latko Ledas Page (PLLP) is opening an additional tax management position at our Avon, Connecticut public accounting firm. We are a growing public accounting firm in Hartford county that was established during the mid-1940s and has maintained a strong presence in the Farmington Valley with a focus on business and individual tax planning and advisory services. We are looking for a Tax Manager who is technically sharp, and is also eager to mentor, collaborate, and lead the firm into the future.
This is a high-impact role with direct client engagement, team leadership, and a seat at the table for firm growth. Our ideal candidate is a CPA with 5 years of public accounting management experience, ready to bring both technical and people skills to the table.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and review complex individual, business, and trust tax returns
- Lead client relationships and deliver proactive tax planning advice
- Mentor and supervise a team of tax professionals
- Stay current with tax laws and help enhance firm processes
- Collaborate closely with partners and contribute to firm strategy
✔ CPA license (Required)
✔ 5 years of tax-focused public accounting experience with team leadership
✔ Strong communication, review, and advisory skills
✔ A hands-on mindset and commitment to professional growth—for you and others
