- Provide answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
- Provide technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
- Improve user self-reliance by writing and maintaining troubleshooting documentation.
- Participate in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending easy to understand instructional language.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed by using the Palmer ticketing system and addressing/routing/escalating issues as necessary.
- Prior information technology or systems support experience preferred
- Traveling between sites may be required to complete some tasks
- Familiarity with telephone, office, 3PL, LAN and ticketing software
- Problem solving
- Basic LAN knowledge and troubleshooting

- Windows 10 client/Windows server operating systems knowledge
- Phone system knowledge (Avaya a plus)
- Quality focus on end user support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Basic understanding of Active Directory services
- Basic server administration tasks
- Previous experience in IT or systems support roles preferred
- Highschool Diploma or G.E.D
- A degree in Computer System or certificate is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with phones, office, 3PL and ticketing software
- Traveling between sites may be required to complete tasks.
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
