We're seeking a hands-on Accounting/HR Manager to support the daily financial operations and HR needs of our team. - Manage daily accounting tasks including AP/AR, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Handle month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare internal financial reports for leadership
- Oversee payroll processing and related reporting
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely payments
- Coordinate with external CPA for taxes and annual filings
- Administer onboarding, offboarding, and employee recordkeeping
- Manage benefits enrollment, PTO tracking, and compliance with labor laws
- Support performance review and feedback processes
- Handle basic employee relations issues and escalate as needed
- Keep HR policies up to date and ensure team-wide compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 3'5 years of experience in combined accounting and HR roles
- Knowledge of Infor Visual (or similar software) and payroll platforms (e.g., Paychex, ADP)
- Familiarity with employment law and HR practices for small to mid-sized teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter comfortable managing day-to-day operations independently
- Experience in a growing small business or startup environment
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or CPA a plus
