A Preconstruction Coordinator is responsible for assisting managers and field personnel in recording information obtained from designers and engineers into field-ready reports for field technicians and creating presentation drawings. These drawings and reports represent the concepts and details of several disciplines including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and electrical controls. A Preconstruction Coordinator works from blueprints, models, manufacturer submittal data and verbal information supplied by sales personnel, designers, engineers, or detailers to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete projects. Assignments regularly require the use of mathematical calculations and research involving precedents, manufacturers' catalogs, and technical guides. A Preconstruction Coordinator resolves most of the problems encountered with moderate supervision. A Preconstruction Coordinator runs copies and plots of working drawings and reports as required. They also assist with other miscellaneous support tasks when assigned.
The Preconstruction Coordinator performs the following:
· Display proficiency with computer hardware and software used by the company
· Be able to work in a team setting
· Become familiar with the operation and depiction of all types of mechanical systems, drawings and documents
· Perform additional tasks as assigned
Salary : $30,000
