HR Generalist

Palmetto Corp is seeking a self-motivated and experienced HR Generalist to support our HR Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR Tasks. If you are a professional with a strong sense of discretion and a background in HR, we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities Could Include:

• Assisting with recruiting and retention
• New Hire orientation/paperwork
• Employee relations
• Benefits Administration (401k, Insurance, Vacation, Christmas Club, EAP Program, Holiday)
• Ensuring legal compliance in all areas
• Assisting with training and development programs
• Policy Development and implementation
• FMCSA Drivers Qualification Compliance – DOT Physicals, MVR Records, Violation review, qualification files
• Reviewing and approving company approved drivers
• Employee surveys/interviews
• EEO - Site meetings, Stage Type Inspections, EEO Boards
• Assisting with employee recognition programs
• Employee Turnover and Trend Tracking
• Perform administrative work such as scheduling and maintaining files
• Enter employment data into computer database
• Contact references and perform background checks

Experience preferred:
