Operational Excellence
. Assists in short- and long-term planning, budgeting, and operation of the DGR team to achieve organizational goals.
. Provide tactical guidance for all areas within scope, to include acquisition of donors and donations, production of
donations, brick and mortar retail, e-commerce, .
. Lead, manage, grow, direct, and hold accountable the management and development of the DGR team, including all
retail locations, and E-Commerce.
. Monitor and achieve operational performance goals. Drive adjustments to operational tactics as necessary to achieve
goals. Lead with a growth mindset, a focus on action and sense of urgency.
. Ensure the profitability of DGR through the analysis of financial statements, production and sales reports, key
performance measures, and other performance data. Provide recommendations to the VP of DGR for modifications
of existing operations or possible new growth opportunities.
. In conjunction with VP of DGR, develop, implement, and monitor budgets and operating plans for the department.
. Responsible for operating effectively across functional boundaries, building, and sustaining external and internal
relationships.
. Administer special projects at the discretion of the CEO.
Team Management
. Lead talent strategy across DGR to ensure a high-performing, high-growth and engaged team.
. Manage and supervise teams and lead the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct staff while guiding
larger multi-disciplinary teams. Set individual and team-level goals for DGR.
. Interview, hire, and develop team members to achieve desired outcomes in alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements:. Prior Thrift Store Operations a must.
. Minimum eight years' experience effectively leading teams in multi-layered/complex organizations with track record
of successfully driving outcomes and maximizing talent.
. Broad knowledge of such fields as manufacturing, supply chain, thrift retail, accounting, marketing, business
administration, and finance.
. Equivalent to four-year college degree plus nine to ten years related experience and/or training.
