About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging new hire experience. This role bridges the gap between recruitment and HR by ensuring new employees are effectively welcomed, oriented, and integrated into the organization. The TA Specialist partners with Talent Acquisition, HR, and department leaders to facilitate all aspects of the onboarding process, ensuring compliance, consistency, and a positive first impression. This position may serve as back-up for other HR functions when needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, In office

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
- 2 years of experience in HR, onboarding, talent acquisition, or a related area
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
- Coordinate and execute the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling, documentation, background checks, and first-day logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during the pre-boarding and onboarding phases.
- Partner with TA Coordinators and leaders to ensure timely and accurate completion of offer letters and employment documents/requirements.
- Ensure a smooth handoff between Talent Acquisition and HR by maintaining clear documentation and communication.
- Monitor onboarding progress and follow up with new hires and leaders to ensure engagement and completion of required tasks.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and internal requirements related to onboarding and employment eligibility (e.g., I-9, E-Verify).
- Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding experience through feedback collection, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Support special HR and TA projects as needed, including system implementations and employee experience initiatives.
- Serves as a back-up to other HR functions when needed.
