Job Overview:
Palmetto Moon is seeking a results-driven and strategic Digital Marketing Manager to lead our omnichannel digital marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales across both digital and brick-and-mortar touchpoints. This role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure aligned goals and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Marketing & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales across digital and brick-and-mortar touchpoints.
- Ensure consistent messaging and customer experience across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing, SEO, social media, and in-store channels.
- Ensure the alignment of digital campaigns with in-store promotions, creating a seamless cross-channel experience for customers both online and in our physical stores.
- Collaborate with in-store teams to develop and execute strategies that drive foot traffic and enhance the in-store experience, ultimately boosting both online and in-store sales.
Digital Advertising & SEO
- Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and improve conversion rates.
- Lead and optimize Google Ads, Meta Ads, and additional platforms (TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.) to drive traffic and sales across both digital and brick-and-mortar touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the PPC Specialist, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to align campaigns with business initiatives and maximize ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and customer acquisition.
- Continuously monitor, test, and refine paid media strategies to maximize performance and optimize spend efficiency.
Email & Content Marketing
- Collaborate with the Email Marketing Specialist to optimize email campaigns, refine segmentation, and enhance key metrics like open and click-through rates (CTR).
- Oversee and guide the creation of compelling, customer-focused copy for digital ads, emails, landing pages, and social media content, ensuring it aligns with the overall marketing strategy and brand voice.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all digital touchpoints, maintaining brand integrity across platforms.
- Provide feedback and direction on content design to ensure a cohesive and engaging customer experience, balancing both creativity and performance objectives.
Analytics, Budgeting & Project Management
- Monitor costs and adjust strategies to ensure campaigns stay within budget while achieving optimal performance and maximizing ROI.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, while ensuring that results are aligned with KPIs.
- Work closely with senior leadership to forecast budget needs and align resources effectively across campaigns.
- Own reporting and data analysis to drive decision-making and optimize campaigns across all channels.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital marketing specialists, particularly in the areas of email marketing and PPC, providing clear direction, support, and performance guidance.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with e-commerce and creative teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, including expertise in omnichannel marketing, PPC, SEO, and email marketing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, specifically Email Marketing and paid media specialists.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
- Expertise in data analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and a solid understanding of how to leverage data to drive decisions and improve campaign performance.
- Strong copywriting skills and ability to create compelling, customer-focused digital content.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and conversion rate optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on results and collaboration.
- Experience in Shopify e-commerce is preferred.
- Experience with brick-and-mortar marketing, including in-store promotions and customer journey optimization, is a plus.
- Job may require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak season, events, or rush projects.
- Physical ability to use telephone, computer hardware/software including keyboard, type, sit, and stand for extended periods of time, and occasionally lifting/carry up to 40lbs.
