Palmetto Pain Management is an interventional pain management practice seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. Our facility is known for our friendly, outgoing, and professional staff.
Our perfect candidate is a detail-oriented, scientifically-minded professional who combines technical laboratory skills with strong attention to detail and documentation abilities. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with clinical staff and laboratory leadership.
Must have a 4-year degree in a scientific field. Must be a fast learner, and possess exceptional communication skills. Experience working in laboratory environments is a plus, but we are willing and able to train individuals without prior experience.

Major Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Handling administration and technical analysis for UDT presumptive screens on qualitative analyzer machines
- Performing and documenting daily, monthly, and annual maintenance on laboratory equipment, and other compliance/quality-oriented processes
- Coordinating closely with clinical staff and the General Laboratory Supervisor
- Maintaining thorough documentation of laboratory procedures and results
- Managing quality control processes and ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols
- Assisting with sample collection as needed
- Supporting the laboratory team by filling in wherever necessary
- Training on both qualitative analyzer machines and LCMS quantitative equipment to provide versatile support
