What you will be doing
As part of this role, you will be engaging with small to mid-market business owners and their respective organizations. Your primary focus will be on strategic selling, where consultative sales will be required. You will be responsible for generating leads and building a sales pipeline, leading sales calls, analyzing data, preparing presentations, developing pricing proposals, and structuring deals. Your goal will be to grow new business by selling PPS solutions to small to mid-sized businesses. In order to achieve this, you will need to research and understand the prospective client's business goals, objectives, and challenges, and build a professional network to create a pipeline of business. You will need to communicate accurate and timely forecasts to management, actively participate in the preparation and execution of sales plans and networking events, and meet the required sales/revenue targets.
What you will need
Experience in the payments industry and technology
2 years of sales experience in discovery, solving business needs
Consultative sales approach with a successful track record selling to business owners
Ability to work in and support the Columbia, SC marketplace
