Position Responsibilities :
Requirements
Educational / Experience Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required, previous experience in health information systems in a hospital / medical office required. Basic computer skills, keyboarding, and telephone skills required.
Licensure / Certification : Preferred but not required, associate's degree in health information management with credentials, Registered Health Information Technician certification.
Other Requirements :
One year HIM department experience, or medical office clinical or front office experience required. Must be proficient in medical terminology with excellent PC skills including navigating an Electronic Health Record.
