The Opportunity :
You'll be hands-on, working with the co-founders, managing a workforce of 40 worldwide, growing it to 60 in a year, inspiring creativity, and equipping everyone in the team to challenge the industry's status quo.
Key Responsibilities :
Design compensation philosophies and apply them to both recruiting and raises / refreshers
Create an awesome onboarding experienceDrive performance reviews and feedbackTalent & manager trainingsManage day-to-day people operations for the US, Canada, and AsiaManage general people ops and salary payments through Gusto
Design and manage PTO & expense policiesManage HRIS and other HR-related systems to maintain accurate employee recordsEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all operating regionsEmployee engagement and cultureDesign and implement a competitive benefits structure that enables employees to focus on creativity.
Make our physical office in the Bay Area an inspiring place to work and visitOrganize online & offline events so our global team can regularly get together and bond and brainstormCreate an excellent employer brandingOrg chart and headcount planningHelp co-founders design the org chart

Diligent and detail-orientedGreat empathy, can read people and communicate wellComfortable working as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-energy environmentPrevious experience working with executives on people strategiesDomain knowledge in HR areas such as benefits, organization design, HRISStrong working knowledge of all HR functional areas, including onboarding, training and development, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.Qualifications :
