Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to maintain hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining hospital cleanliness and supporting infection control efforts. Key Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing hospital areas, including floors, restrooms, windows, walls, and vents.
- Completing cleaning and preparation of discharge units and patient rooms.
- Cleaning operating rooms after surgery and as needed.
- Replenishing disposables such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Collecting and transporting refuse and recyclables.
- Assisting with linen distribution and change cubicle curtains when necessary.
The successful candidate will follow infection control and safety procedures, reporting hazards to the maintenance lead.
