Position: Revenue Cycle Support Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Assistant works with members of the revenue cycle team, internal or external resources, to assist with the oversight of key revenue cycle functions as assigned by the manager.  Working directly with the Revenue Cycle Manager, this position is responsible for a variety of functions that are established to ensure claims, denials and appeals are processed efficiently, timely and effectively to minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and to validate and correct identified deficiencies in the revenue cycle process.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

· AA degree in Information Technology preferred.

· Advanced proficiency in frequently used software programs such as Microsoft Office.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in determining third-party payer requirement for validating eligibility and authorization requirements.

· Basic knowledge of basic third-party payer procedures, and reimbursement practices for collection.

· Spanish speaking preferred.
