Here is your opportunity to join our fine dining team as General Manager, overseeing all operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience while driving profitability, staff engagement, and brand standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team while fostering a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
Mentor and develop team members to excel in their field and be fulfilled in their jobs while meeting restaurant objectives.
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, excellence, and positivity.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance guest satisfaction, streamline workflow, and maintain or exceed brand standards.
Manage budgets, labor costs, and inventory to meet financial goals, including analyzing financial reports and implementing strategies to optimize profitability.
Collaborate with the culinary and resort teams to create promotions, events, and menu adjustments that drive revenue and lead the restaurant’s social media presence.
Ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience, from reservations to post-dining feedback.
Act as the primary point of contact for guests, special events, and customer inquiries.
Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations with a safety-first mindset.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
Partner with the resort’s marketing team to promote the steakhouse locally and regionally.
Develop relationships within the local community to increase visibility and patronage.
Act as a brand ambassador for the Hunt Club Steakhouse and the resort.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a General Manager in an upscale dining establishment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including financial management, inventory control, and guest relations.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, social media and Microsoft Office.
Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Background in luxury resorts, golf courses, or similar upscale environments, preferred.
Experience managing special events, including weddings and corporate functions would be ideal.
Engaging and excellent verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to jump in wherever needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 8-10 hours during shifts.
Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 25 pounds (e.g., supplies, small furniture adjustments, or assisting staff with stocking).
Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing stairs.
Visual acuity to monitor restaurant operations, read menus, financial reports, and observe guest and staff interactions.
Ability to hear and communicate effectively in a busy environment with background noise, including the ability to give directions and respond to guest or staff inquiries promptly.
Manual dexterity for using a computer, point-of-sale system, and other necessary tools or equipment.
