Project Estimator / Electrical

Overview:

We are seeking a Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge and education in electrical construction and possess strong analytical abilities to provide accurate project cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize software such as Bluebeam, and NEC codes to prepare detailed project estimates
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project scope and objectives
- Review and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Prepare and submit competitive bids for projects
- Conduct on-site visits to assess construction sites and gather relevant information
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field desired but not required
- Proven experience in the electrical construction industry
- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam
- Knowledge of construction contracts, pricing, and negotiation techniques
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with project management principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
