Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Opportunities to grow within the restaurant. Mainly evening shifts Thursday through Sunday.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure that all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
• Help with bussing tables during busy service periods to enhance guest experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in a collaborative setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in the hospitality industry.
